If you can find any camo rings that match, buy them.
But why buy camo rings?
Black ringswon't spook deer.
Millet angle lock windage adjustable rings are usuallyan excellentvalue andmost Milletsare made ofsteel. Ihaven't seenmany ringsmade in camo, but maybe Nikon makes some thatmatch their camoscope?

My ML is a TC Arms Pro Hunter and I bought the Nikon Omega in APG along with mount (ring's attached to the mount...i.e., non-weaver, non-Leupold, etc). I think it's a Talley, but I'm not too sure.

I don't know if you'll have the same problem I have, but the extended eye relief for the Omega scope is about 5" vice the normal 3" of a normal scope. It's supposed to protect you against magnum load kick of the rifle and protect your forehead, but I find that I have to move my cheek back to the rear of the comb to a point that it is most uncomfortable to shoot, especially offhand.

I started searching recently and ran across the DNZProducts.com website and found a great scope/ring mount system to move the scope up a few inches forward to return my cheek to the correct position on the comb. Here's the link:
http://www.dnzproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&p roducts_id=303

The mount comes in a medium and low mount:

(10014C = Low)

(10016C = Med)

The price for the mount isn't that cheap $71.95), but I'm sure it'll help move the scope forward enough to satisfy my needs. I'll repost later, once I get the new mount, and let you know if it solves my problem. FYI, the Talley scope mount is about $65.00 at Cabelas.

Thanks for that post.
I shoot an Encore with the same scope but I need it farther forward, that just may be the answer

Got an e-mail query back from DNZProducts today: the 10016C is 1/8" higher than the 10014C; so, if you want a lower mounted scope, go with the 10014C.
