Dumb bullet ????
 

So maybe I'll get better results here . Why are there no spitzer/spire point bullet moulds . Like an "X" styled flat base or gas checkedor fullconical pistol bullet shaped like the Evolution . HP's ofcourse .
I have looked at 100's of moulds ,I'm sure they can be hadby acustom maker .Do I want to pay $150 for a single mould ? No .

Have you seen any?

There were a few around for a while, they don't work well so they died. You have to push a bullet down the barrel with out the type stuff we use for bench rest shooting which you would not want to fool with hunting it is to easy to get that point shoved off center I tried them for a while with a bench gun mold bought half of them go whild because they got just a little of center. If you want to foll with them any way then find a smith that custom makes the for bench shooters. Lee

I just wanted to shoot some on the cheap maybe just for bulk practice . I often with a buddy shoot 100 or more per trip to the range and the cheap m85 ball just isn't any more .

I'm no machinist but I know a couple maybe I'll "just knock somthing out in the garage".

the cheapest I know of would be the round nose in 44 or 45 cal they shoot well and are easy to make or buy in large quanities, there are sabots available, or were you looking for a conical? Lee
