1st. RANGE REPORT - ThunderHawk .50cal
 

OK guys here is a small range report with the thunderhawk

First off I took the Musket nipple out and replaced it with a #11 tc spit fire nipple . All shots were with the same powdercharges 85gr 2fg 777 by volum & CCI mag #11 caps.

Started off @ 20yds just to see if the open sights were even close and with a 350gr TC Maxi-Hunter a .510 card Wad & 85gr of powder took a fine aim with the bead, Dead Center of Bulls Eye No Pic but ** WOW** So I moved the Target back to 50yds Put a New target up witch I used a 6" shoot-n-see target and this was the results.

at this time I was very very pleased with this gun, and thought with a little tweaking she may just be a 1 hole shooter or super close to it.

the next morning I thought I would drop a scope on her and see what she would do. So I ran up to wally World and got a $30 Tasco 3X9X40 and put on her . Scoped range report seperate .

that is some excellent shooting there. Hard to get better then that with open sights..
