just got back from walmart, they had there ML gear out.

powerbelts: only 4 weights, 270gr plats 19.99, 245 hp copper 16.97, 245 and 295 at 15.00

only carrying only 6 saboted rounds $7 to $15

FPBs $19

they are only carrying triple 7 $28.95

they are not even carrying pyro rs unless they get it in closer to the time.

something that got my attention, win. magnum BP #11 (may pick some up $6 per tin,

win 777 $6

came home and told jess it would be cheap to order most of this stuff.

Wal Mart prices are always high at first. At the end of the season, they drop drastically.

good price on the plats and the 295s. Everything else is BS. Triple 7 costs is $21 here.

I can find plats. at one of the gun shops I go to all the time for about $18 but it is a 10 to 15 min ride, walmart is just around the corner. so on those may be worth it to me.

forgot to say, I bought a pack of FPB's. might be the only pack I get. unless a couple other places carry them cheaper. thats it. no delete that. shakes head no. throws potatoes at wife. giggles incessantly. dances in pink girlie shorts. noooo sweetheart don't tell my buddies my secret passions quit typing!!!!!!!!!! beats on wife....helpppppppp

Wow your lucky. My local walmart only sells bb guns. No archery stuff and no BP stuff :-(

I noticed some of the Walmarts in PA. no longer sell guns any more??

Why,,,no idea what went on...But they still sell ammo and muzzle-
loader supplies......

Our Wal Mart also decided they would not sell rifles and muzzleloaders anymore. I was talking to the person in Sporting Goods and he said the sales were so low in the firearms department that corporate decided to do away with it for the extra space. As if our Super Wal Mart needs more space. You can get lost in that thing. They still sell muzzleloader supplies during season, but right now there is nothing sporting goods wise, except some scopes, and fishing supplies.

The other reason very well could be due to the sale of alcohol. I was talking to one of the salesman at the sporting goods counter at one Wal Mart and asked him why some sell guns and ammo and all that good stuff and others don't. He said that most states won't allow the sale of alcohol and firearms, ammo, etc. in the same building.So, whichever one the store thinks will make more money is what they sell.

Corey just hang tight if you can until the end of the season and then stock up for the next season. Thats how I always do it with Wally's. Triple Seven and Pyro can be had for next to nothing then.

only things I am going to get is sure fire, which I use for sighting, and the 245 and 295 powerbelt. the rest can wait until jan.

I wait for the endo of the season and buy stuff.
Sometimes I hide what I want,wait for it to go on clearance and then stock up

I was about to say that my walmart sells out of alot of stuff prior to the clearance prices, but saxman's idea may help with that problem. No one would ever look for pyrodex in the fabric section. Maybe a little underhanded, but I like it. Last year I kept waiting for the ML's to go on clearance, but they never did. They just disappeared into the back of the store, they are just now bringing the guns back out.
