I got one last fall for my birthday. Awesome gun. How do you like it?

I had never heard of that rifle. So I searched and looked it up. Looks like a nice in-line. I am sure you two will have many hours of fun on the range and in the woods with it.

RE: Peifer TS-93

An elderly man in my home town used to make them. Not sure on how many he made but I think he has stopped producing them in the last few years. A guy at my deer camp is his son-in law. He' s got lots of stories about hunting with some big names and they were impressed with the way the gun performed. They dont' come too cheap though. We got lucky and a guy in our town found 3 on the internet for $800 a piece. Never been shot or anything. Low serial number too. They' re awesome guns!

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/blac...er-peifer.html ask and you shall receive, oh great one lol!

Wow, how did you find that 2005 thread?

That's the most unique (and complex) in-line action I've ever seen. I'll bet they cost quite a bit to manufacture.

Interesting design and by far, the most handsome inline I've ever seen.

gregrn43 01-06-2011 05:54 AM

I have one and love it, the ONLY downside is the whole gun needs to be tore down to clean it and you have to clean alot of individual parts but it is a great shooter.

If it wasn't for the difficult cleaning issue I could see myself wanting one of these. That trigger guard co--ing mechanism got me as well as the primer holder really unique.
