How is the trigger on the Encore rifles?
I saw a guy at a gun show today that had a 209X50 stainless with a 3-9 Leupold scope for $800. He said he had a gunsmith do a trigger job on it. That kind of scared me off. Also, I thought $800 was too much for the used outfir anyway.

They, like most factory triggers need help. Fortunetly it is cheap to have remedied by a gun smith, or an easy do-it-yourself project. Check these two sites.

Well, mine finally came in. Advantage Timber stock set, .45 cal, Stainless. Nice! The trigger has a travel adjustment screw, have you tried it? The trigger feels fine to me.
