I WOULD HAVE TO GO WITH T/C I JUST RETURN A HAWINS WITH A CRACK STOCK ON A 50 CAL FLINTER THEY REPLACE THE STOCK AND ALL BRASS HARDWARE FREE OF CHARGE AND PAID RETURN SHIPPING.I ALSO HAVE A T/C INLINE IN THE THUNDERHAWK 54CAL. THAT I REALLY LIKE AS FAR AS CVA I ALSO HAVE THE INLINE WHICH FOR THE PRICE THE GUN SHOOTS AS GOOD AS ANY OF MY T/C BLACKPOWDERS.I WAS LOOKING INTO A LYMAN GPR THE ONLY THING THAT TURN ME OFF WAS THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON THE RIFLE.T/C HAS A LIFETIME WARRANTY AND LOOKS LIKE THEY STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS.

I have experience with both Knight and T/C on warranty work. Both are excellent.I broke my ram rod . I called Knight in a few days I had a replacement free of charge. T/C has replaced my old Renegade stock. It cracked. I was asked to send the stripped down stock. In about 10 days I had a completely new Renegade less the barrel and ramrod.I have T/C Fiber Optic sights on both the Knight Disc and Renegade. The front sites fiber optic broke. No questions asked I was send free replacements.IMO T/C' s warranty is second to none.

I would have to go with the Thompson Center... when the stock on my Renegade cracked, I sent it back, and no questions were asked. They replaced it and fitted the new stock to the old barrel, and even tuned the lock a little. I never asked for the tune up, but I was pleased to see that they really checked the gun over.

I know that T/C are much more expensive than CVA so that is one thing to consider. I have a TC Hawkin in 50 cal and have had no problems but I don' t abuse it either. I also have an in line CVA Firebolt. It cost a lot less than the TC but I did have a screw break that holds the back of the trigger assembly. Called them and 5 days later I had the screw and no charge.
