roofinman,

I have the A&H 420. Great rifle, very accurate, wood stock looks great, synth stock comfortable to shoot. A bit front end heavy because of the long bolt. I have taken 4 bucks with mine. The gun can shoot more accurately then I can hold (1.5 inches or less). Customer service is great, they will take care of you.

I think their inlines are way too heavy and clumsy to handle, particularly if scoped. But they make a Hawken style sidelock mountain rifle that is superb!!

I like Knight or Thompson Center. Their entry level rifles will shoot as well as any rifle out there. Plus, their customer service is tops.
