Tried Pinnacle Powder Today
 
Tried Pinnacle Powder in my .50 Encore today. Took four shots to get it zeroed. Load is:Winchester 209 primer, .44 caliber 240 grain XTP in short green sabot and 120 grains of Pinnacle FFG.

Fired two three shot groups at 100 yards. One group is almost exactly 1" and the other is about 1.5"

Judging from the recoil and other shooters commentsabout the crack; P
innacle ismore powerful than JSG. Pinnacle is a very clean powder. There was no crud ring.

Going to continue load workupwith this powder with a goalof using Pinnacle with the 250grain SST.

Also have somePinnacle FFFG that i want to try.

Pinnicle and JSG are made in the same plant App makes it for Goex. FYI

Pinnacle is a good powder. Some rifles like it, some hate it. It is clean burning and easy to clean up. Nice shooting there. And that is a good load.
