The bullets need lube to go through the sizer die before the paper is put on. After the bullets are wrapped they need just a very little amount to go through the sizer with the paper on. The bullets I sent to FG didn't have any lube on them so he could use what ever lube he wanted to.
The paper works just like a plastic sabot. The paper protects the bore and the bullet. It increases speed and accuracy, at least in two of my guns. Ron
