Default Breech Plug Grease

Found an excellent product a few days ago when i got my winchester apex.

I have been using a tube of Lubriplate No.105 Motor assembly grease.

Its white, wipes off easily, cleans off with water and keeps the plugs from freezing up. On my last outing i fired 6-7 shots and i was able to unscrew my plug with finger pressure.

For the grease users, try it out!

I just ran out of CVABreech plug and nipple grease which I had used for years. This time I used Slick 50 One Grease this time and I really like the stuff. I had it on a couple rifles so far, and it is easy to apply, easy to remove, and just a good product. I will be using this for a very long time.

I bought mine from car quest about 9 years ago when i was rebuilding a ford flathead.

Most part stores should carry it.

Thing i love about it. It washes off with water and its not messy like other greases!

Thanks Fg, I'll look for it local, then order if I can't find it.
I have an AutoZone, Advance Auto, NAPA and a Carquest right here in the area. Someone's bound to carry it.

Mcawful ,

I put 13 shots through the Apex today and the plug backed out easily. I think it's going to turn out to be a good product.
