Thompson Center makes a tang peep sight... I had one on my Renegade for years but took it off.

Stevie I was going to get one a couple weeks ago for my Hawken. I believe it is T/C's model 7194. Cabela's carries them. I took it out of the pack but the aperature hole is too small for me. You probably could bore it out.
As for drilling - Maybe Dave (Cayugad) can tell you - On the older Hawken tangs there was the standard 2 screw holes for the wood screws plus one addition hole tapped for a machine screw. I believe you used the front wood screw hole and the machined screw hole to attach the sight. |

The tang sight on my T/C hawkins is like decribed above, from T/C and the machine hole in the center of the tang between the two wood screws.
Most people recommend you drill the apture out to suit your shooting style. :) Al |

As far as I know all the tang sights require a center hole threaded for the screw furnished with the sight. Some tangs came pre-drilled and some have to be drilled. You might call T/C and see if they have a pre-drilled tang available.
