Bushnell Banner

My brother in law gave me a bushnell banner 3x9-40mm scope. I dont have a ML'er to put it on " Not that i would anyway" So i grabbed the old 30-30 i had sitting in the corner of the wall for the last 4 years. Never could get it to shoot worth a chit. Mounted it, started off at 30 yards and got it on. Scooted back to 70 yards, Dialed in, man that scope is great! I am putting 1/4" 3 shot groups @ 71 yards. I couldnt come close to doing that at 25 yards with the other scope i had on it.

Cayugad, you're right! Those suckers are clear and accurate.

It was fun shooting that rifle but i blew a little over 40 rounds in 15 minutes.

Think i'll take it prarie dog hunting sunday or monday.

you burned some ammo there... :D:D:D

Today was nasty and windy but I noticed I had over five pine squirrels in the yard keeping the birds off the feeders. So I got out my .22 caliber Remington Fieldmaster Pump rifle. It has a Tasco 4X scope on it. I set up the bench and put a box in the snow at 35 yards to make sure it was on. I aimed at that black symbol and shot off a lot of shells at it. When I was sure I was on, I drew my little blue squirrel head and shot five more times to make sure the slaughter could begin...

Needless to say, the squirrels have left the feeders. The birds are once again enjoying the sunflower seeds...
