Worst thing for me is I'm shooting my sidelocks more than my inlines lately, and they definitely prefer real BP!
I may have to order some BP this summer. I'm down to 2 or 3 pounds of each (ffg/fffg) granulation.
I've only got 1 209 ignition inline now, and I hate to spend that much money to try the new powder. Guess I could always let the big brown truck drop off another homeless inline. ;)
Hmmmmmmmmm...........
Wonder if the wife would fall for it?
Had this can of powder going to waste, so I bought a new rifle to use it up!

On second thought................
I can just hear her explaining to the ER doc, "I had this cast iron skillet going to waste, so I broke it over his head so I could sell it for scrap!"

Think I'll wait for others to report on the new powder. ;)

I guess I'm with you Wabi. I have one in-lineand seven side locks. I do enjoy playing with the Mustang and would not consider getting rid of it, but have no real desire for another in-line. Now, a .58 barrel for that Renegade I just bought would be sweet, or maybe a conversion to flintlock. :D

HA! Thats what i said about my X-150!

I love my the smokepoles i have now. I do miss the X-150 time to time but its a lot cheaper for me to shoot now that its gone. The new owner is enjoying it anyways.

Charlie,I'll try them to as I try every thing thats available to me to see what I can learn from it. That does not change the my opinion of people that set us up to pay exorbatan prices to give them 500percent profit, check the price on Black Horn 209 against all the other powders made by Western.
