Yep...Sitting here at my desk, in my pajama pants and doing a little work as well.....Tomorrow, I'm leaving here about 3:00, picking up a couple of buddies and headed to Raleigh to the Dixie Deer Classic, going to get some BBQ on the way...

There are some benefits when you work for yourself....;)

I did the corporate deal for 13 years, never was good at sucking up to folks, so I left....

If I would have seen the post when posted , I would have been at work. On break of course! But I wasn't, I was on my way to a retirement meeting. 29 days to go before I jump ship!!! Shoot and ride, ride and shoot!! Fish steelhead, hunt turkeys, spend time w/my grandson and work on Patty's honeydo list. Not necessarily in that order!!!

No computer access at work, that's why you only see me here in the evening or early AM. Except for Sunday, I get all Sundays off.

Yes, I'm working on aUXOremediation work plan and health and safety plan for a client. But I get paid by the job. This afternoonis hog hunting time again.

Naw! I haven't worked this century (retired 12/31/1999). I had 32 yearsin the Human Resources businessas a civilian employee ofthe Dept. of Army.There are those who say I didn't work then either, but that's not true.

Yep, I tookoff and went pig hunting yesterday afternoon.

Got lucky too. Here is one of the pigs. They weighed about 30-35 pounds on the hoof. The other onewas given away before I got home to the camera. It was the same size but all black.

Tracked them up a wash for abouta kilometer. Sometimes there was a bigger hog with them and sometimes not.Later found where their sow was off wallowing in a mud hole about 50 yards from where the pigs were shot. It is unusual for a sow not to be with her pigs looking out forthem.

Gun was my old CVA Staghorn with a 240 grain XTP and two Pyrodex pellets.The black one just stood under the bushes while I re-loaded.

Haven't worked for anyone but the other half in 15 years. Never found out what work was untill then. Having said that and still kicking, she's not bad working for. We are celebrating our 50th aniversity the 14th of March, and going to San Diego for some R&R. Rented a Condo right on the beach and the weather is in the high Sixties. See you guy's the week of the 17th, with a deep tan and relaxed."Don't mean to rub it in" .
