Been driving me nuts. I know not a long drive
I stopped smoking in April 2001. In march 2002 I was told I was a diabetic. Like having the rug jerked out from under a person.
Well enough of the whining. I have been getting 4 boxes of these since 2002 ever other month. ![]() No way can I use all of them before the next delivery arrives. I keep telling them to stop sending them but they don't. I have been wondering what to do with all of them and one day the light finally came on. Would they fit a 50 cal jag? ![]() Opened up like this one they do and swab the bore just fine. They also fit a 54 cal jag open like the above. They even fit both calibers foled in half. ![]() Just remember to use the right size jag. They come in a double foil pack so carrying them afeild when hunting isn't a problem either. ![]() Get them at any drug store. Not sure what the box would cost. They can be handy for starting a fire too. Now to figure out what to do with all those extra lancets. I only use one a week. :)Al |

Good for you yooper - lemons to lemonade.
My wife is diabetic. I kid her that she gets to shoot (herself) more than I do. I love those little alcohol swab packets. Don't leave home without them. |

You know when you get a new thingy and they place those neat little price stickers on the thingy and the glue sticks like the bjeepers..... Alcohol swabs gets it off.;)

It really is true, when one door closes, another opens up.
Oh, congrats on quitting smoking. I did it back in '92, thought it was going to kill me! |

I buy those alcohol swab packets like that and carry them in my hunting bag in case I need an emergency swab or to clean the barrel in the field...
