Those look good. What size/grain are they?

RE: 100 cast bullets and no sabots to shoot them in
lee 429 214 swc, only mold I could find local that fit the sabots I had on hand, now I need to get some because I got more bullets then sabots, I am playing with the idea of an 457 mold and mmp orange and doing an 400+ grain. I still done have anywhere I can get softer lead then wheelwight, mold for conicals are not in play (yet)

You can use that WW for conicals. Tom.

Sorry for the second post. I just wanted to add that you shouldonly use the WW in a modern firearm. "THEY" say it is bad in an antique firearm. But I am not sure who "THEY" are. I shoot WW in my Lyman flintlock, with no problem. Tom.

Hey i just caught something... Only 100 bullets in 2 days? You taking naps after each bullet you mold?:D:D

RE: 100 cast bullets and no sabots to shoot them in
FG: no naps, half hour per day not counting heating, remember, I am still new at this.
tom: I keep reading conical need to be made out of "pure" lead, but I seen somewhere that WW are just little harder then "pure" lead, but not much |

Those are really nice bullets.

RE: 100 cast bullets and no sabots to shoot them in
You should be fine with the WW's. I've molded roundballs before with plenty of WW's. I just prefer using the recovered powerbelt lead due to the softness of it.
