I hooked up with a friend today and went to the range. we shot his 2 black powder pistols, my new englander, my sks, and his 22. we had a blast. all of it was done off hand. sorry no groups to report. while there I saw a grandpa and with his grandson.

well it looks like you threw a lot of lead and had a good time.. Sometimes, that is all it is about.

we sure did, about 40 rounds of 7.62 x 39, 18 loads out of the pistols, 8 loads out of the new englander (5 - 80 gr pyrodex rs, .015 patch borebutter, .490 hornidy ball 2 - 350 tc maxihunters and 1 330gr hardcast with crash rib sabot) 20 to 40 rounds of 22.

I was posting something on another site looked at that target, kicking the hell out of myself, I had my sks scope during hunting season, I took that scope off and put it on my usak.

I missed a deer with the sks during rifle season. if I was shooting with open sites I would of had deer earlier. ;)
