Didn't know they made one.

Be interesting to find out if they actually designed and manufacturedthem or if somebody elsed did and sold them under the Marlin name. Like the new "remington" ML

Remington bought out Marlin so maybe it's a mixed gun. Here is the link:

Marlin was in the muzzleloader business back about 5, maybe6 years ago. A buddy of mine has one and really likes it. It's been a good shooter for him. They didn't make'em but a few years. Kind of the same thing they did with the bolt action rifle they use to manufactor.

Nothing like that guys - the marlin is simply a Marlin - manufactured about the same time as the Remington 700ML. It did have some obb ball characteristics but was at the time a real decent shooter. You can convert it to 209 with a conversion kit from Cabelas. I can not remember who made the barrel for them but itwasa decent company. The action is designed off the 77 action if I remember right. I also think the trigger was adjustable. If my memory is correct it is a short barrel.

I did a Google and found one for sale for $200.00. Owner says it was made by TC and is same as a Black Diamond.
