Help me pick a stock color

Help me pick a stock color
After seeing Sabotloaders Camo Laminate Richards stock on his Rem 700 ML I am thinking about adding one to my Rem 700. However mine is the blues version. I am torn between the Blk/Gry Laminate and the Camo Laminate. It is hard ti visulize the Camo stock on a blue gun What do you think. It would be a great summer project for sure.

Oldwun - I think what would suit you is a nice hot pink/chartreuse stock. Just kidding. I have a Ruger #1 Stainless with the black/grey laminate and it looks sharp. But I think the camo like in your post would look good on a blued rifle. Maybe to get a better idea, go into a gun shop and find a grey and a camo laminate stocked gun and set a bluedgun close to it. It would at least give you some perscpective on what it would look like.

I would vote black/grey.... I just put together a Z5 in a black/grey laminate - the purpose was to sell it but the darn things looks so good - reminds me of my good looking lifetime centerfires that are collecting dust.... but it just looks like a real gun...
I'll get a picture and post it up later....

Pick the color that appeals most to you, and don't worry what others think. Personally I have never seen a bad looking stock yet. There is always something appealing in all the color combinations. Sabotloader even has one that looks like a Jackon Pollock piece of art... and I even like that one.

I was leaning towards the blk/gry myself. If it were stainless I would go Camo. i have a Marlin 917 17HMR SS with a blk/gry thumbhole and it looks great. I might go with pink as Bronco22000 if I wanted to be politically correct but I am old school so I'll stick with manly colors. Thanks for the comments.
Good night!!
