summer-like weather so I headed to the range
 

Well, not exactly summer, but after several days well below freezing temps in the mid 30s didn't seem so bad. :D
Took the CVA Staghorninline I picked up in a trade and fired a few rounds. Conicals start hard, but seat very easily. I only took a few types to try,and a Lee hollow base 360grminie looks very promising. Using 80 gr T-7 ffg for all bullets today and only at 25 yards, but the minies stayed in one ragged hole.
Fired about a dozen rounds, then decided the weather wasn't really like summer after all. [:@]
Not much learned about the gun except it does shoot flawlessly, and it has potential for throwing pure lead bullets downrange.

the Staghorn is a great rifle.. sometimes what feels warm can fool you. I was shooting today and like you said, it felt warm but it was not...
