Saved Some Money At A Gun Show Today
Well guys, I just got back from a gun show. I'd brought some bucks with me, figuringI might runacross a good buy on a used ML. What a disappointment! Exactly two MLs in the whole place, a used Encore and a new Traditions Pursuit LT - both grossly overpriced. Saved a lot of money because the only thing I bought was two tins of musket caps.

You could have saved even more if you would not have went at all... That's what I am always told. You just had a urge to buy more rifles... You need counseling..

Yeah, it's crazy isn't it? I've got the .54 GP Flintlock that I haven't even shot yet and I'm still dreaming about stumbling across a .32 or .36 caplock that someone has had in their closet for twenty years.

I guess I need thatsame counseling. I went toa gun show also with a pocket full of money and came home with the pocket still full. I didn't evensee anythingthat interested me. WellI did sweet '92 in .218 Bee. It appearedingreat shape, both wood and metal. Ithink if I got a chance to look down the barrel I may have bought it. The price seem fair, $775.

Well, a new Traditions Crockett goes for $336 at Midsouth.

Seems kinda pricey when you can get a .54 Lyman Trade Rifle for $275.

Say johnny my man, I just realized there are two answers to your question.
Answer #1 -If you plan to sell it to that guy, tell him thatyou know .32s are in high demand right now (they are), but you'll give him a break and let it go for $300.
Answer #2 - After all, the only ML worth having are .50 calibers or larger. There's not much demandfor those little ones and they sure don't hold their value very well. But, I'm willing to give you a break and give you $125 for it, maybe even $150 if it's in "like new" condition.
