40 cal xtps under 200 grs
 

I was looking in the hornady catalog. saw where they had some 40 cal xtp in 155gr and 180gr.

has anyone try those bullets in ML?

I am thinking about tring some down the road.

I tried the 180 did not get the accuracy I do with 200gr. Lee

I use the 200 grain- haven't tried either of the ones you're talking about. However, I'd personally steer away from the 155 grain if you're going to be using it for deer-sized game- I think it's too light. The 180 grainer should work fine if you can get it to group.

I am thinking about ground hog load. that is why I think about that light load. but with the cost going up, I don't think I am going to do anytime soon. I wanna final take some time and get my hunting load locked in.
