Email Soliciting from huntingnet.com
Today was the first day I logged on since it showed the site was acquired by another company. I just received, for the first time, an email for trophy deer hunting in IL. Is this what we have to look forward to with new ownership? I never recieved any solicitation from the site until now. Anyone know what is going on?

RE: Email Soliciting from huntingnet.com
There goes the neighborhood, I reckon.
There's still a bunch of other hunting forums that won't spam your email inbox. |
RE: Email Soliciting from huntingnet.com
I just checked my email and there it was. The ad or IL Deer Hunting. I can live with that if that is the only change. I will just delete them or send them to the spam hole. I will not open them. I like this forum to much to just stop using it because of that. I found out when I was working that anytime they said there would be no change it was always BS

RE: Email Soliciting from huntingnet.com
Perhaps if every HuntingNet member would email the man in charge with a protest about unsoliceted email he would get the message. [email protected]
I'm sending the following: Todd, I've been a long time member of the HuntingNet.Com forums and have enjoyed the service they provide. The new change in ownership would be fine if there were in fact no changes to the services provided, but with recent change I have now received unsolicited email "SPAM" to the account I used to register with HuntingNet from an outfitter connected with HuntingNet. If this type advertising tactic is part of the change I will have to leave the HuntingNet community. Respectfully, Mike Cooper (wabi) |

RE: Email Soliciting from huntingnet.com
Got the advertisement spam this morning - used the unsubscribe feature (which I normally avoid like the plague). Hoping that stops them.

RE: Email Soliciting from huntingnet.com
Just sent Todd an email myself. Not sure what good it will do.
