Not for me. A 30 round range session would cost over $36 for just the bullets. I like to shoot a lot with my hunting bullet and will stick with Gold Dots.

Very Interesting. I might have to try a few of them.

ORIGINAL: spaniel

Now if someone would just bring out a jacketed boattail with roughly the dimensions of a Dead Center...
The 340 gr DC don't need any jacket to keep warm.

Looks interesting, but is it jacketed or plated? I would think it would have to be just plated (thinly) to be soft enough to let the hollow base expand to seal the bore.
At least it will be nice to just have to buy one bullet for all my .50s! The ad says it will perform flawlessly in all .50s and since I own 1:28 - 1:32 - 1:48.......... sure will cut down in inventory!

A magic bullet for sure. Looking forward to one hole groups with my 1:60 Great Plains.

semi, have you shot your great plains yet? Im sitting here working on now. Think im going to end up just using boiled linseed oil on the stock. I got lucky and got a nice dark piece of walnut with a reddish color.

Well I bet that they wont load the same in a .504 white barrel as they do in a .497 Triumph barrel; that would take some doing.
And at 1.25 a piece they border on robbery. Lee

No, I haven't. Have all of the gear toghther, but am waiting 'til the end of deer season. I want to be able to spend a dayon the range with it without distractions. If I take it to the hunting lease rifle range right now I'll have at least two or three other guys kibitzing, joking around, and wanting a try. That will befine (and fun) later on. But the first session is for me.
