Hey guys I need help. I have a new Thompson Center Pro Hunter. The manual calls out a trigger adjustment screw. But my gun doesn't have it & no provisions for it. Do anyone know is this an update, modification, or quality issue?

RE: prohunter
Not sure what you are referring to. I do my own Encore trigger job. Cleaning up the trigger, sear, and hammer; along with adjusting engagement and trigger pull. The only screw adjustment is for trigger over-travel. Some frames did not come with the over travel screw, located in the trigger gaurd behind the trigger. But, I'm fairly certain these were earlier frames. I would assume the over-travel screw is on your pro-hunter.
Let me know if you have more questions. |
RE: prohunter
it is the over travel screw that is missing with no provision for it.

RE: prohunter
The over travel screw boss should still be cast into the trigger gaurd. You can drill and tap it yourself. If you need specifics let me know.
