Swamp fox,
The T.C. Omega is an excellant muzzleloader! I have shot the .50 cal. w/150grs. of Triple 7 with various bullet/sabot combinations and it is accurate and easy to clean. You can not go wrong with the Omega. I'm not saying this just because I own one, but because I have owned and shot just about everything that's out there.
You didn't say what caliber you're interested in, but I would not buy a .45 cal Omega with the 1-20 twist. Wait till T.C. changes it to 1-28" They are working on this now.
Good Luck with your new Omega and keep it in the 10X

I bought the omega this past year and got great results from it...Excelent muzzleloader and easy to clean...TC stands behind their guns very well....Ithink you will be very satisfied with the omega...just my 2 cents worth

THE OLDER I GET... THE OLDER... OLD IS.....

I don't own one, but I like the long barrel idea.
