What are these rifles worth? Lets say 90-95 % condition, synthetic stock.wood stock. I just need some ideas.

Do they sell shot gun barrels for these?

Also, .54cal

Not sure what it's worth, but mine is definitely NOT for sale! A very good "utility" rifle and shotgun.
I have both a .50 barrel (original) and a 12ga. barrel from T/C's custom shop. Matter of fact, I added a camo synthetic stock and a new lock and made up a complete second gun. :D
Not sure if a .54 barrel is available, but it would be handy to have one........ If my wife didn't see the package delivered. [:@]

wabi, how much does the 12g barrel run? I was thinking about picking this one up if is had a wood stock and buying a 12g barrel for it.

$189.99 for the 12 gauge barrel from Fox Ridge Outfitters. The rifle is worth about $150.00 or more. And yes they do sell .54 caliber because I have one. And mine is not for sale either. I never had so much fun grouse hunting with something in my life...

Ouch $190 for a barrel makes my rear end pucker.

Cayuga, what kind of load do you use? I just mainly want it for grouse, rabbits and pretty much small game.

I've been shooting 80 grains of APP 2f and then an over the powder card. I follow that with a lubed fiber wad, and then 90 grains of #5 shot. And top it all with a over the powder card. It has been deadly on grouse this year. Also I took a few of them little pine squirrels and sent them to that big hickory tree in the sky. It is a lot of fun.
