To cut cost of shooting that smoke pole ditch the pellets first. Loose is much cheaper and just as easy it use in the field with a little prep time. It is also easier to dial in your smoke pole perfect load( s).
Hornadays XTP's have killed thousands of deer over the years of sabot use. Speer Gold Dots are another bullet that preform very well on deer.
Buy the bullets and sabots in bulk also.
