tc renegade loads

getting the ol renegade out tomorrow. haven`t shot in acouple yrs. any recommend loads? 1/48 twist I used to shoot 295gr lead hps powerbelts with fair accuracy. any suggestions appreciated thanks

I have a TC Hawken 50 cal with a 1:48 twist flintlock. I shoot 80g of Goex 3f in it. A crushed rib sabot holding a 300g Speer Gold Dot. I have it sighted it at 50 yards, which is about as far as I have ever shot, althought I believe it could be a 100 yard gun if I sighted it in for that.

Still my favorite load for a Renegade is 90 grains of Goex 2f and a patched roundball. With the 1-48 twist I find that a very accurate load. Also the REAL conicals are also accurate.
