I had the same problem with my traditions muzzle loader. I took a very small drill bit, just slightly larger than the hole in the nipple and drilled it out. This will make more spark get to your powder. I've never had a problem since. Easy fix. Good Luck.

I was having the same problem with my traditions muzzleloader. If you will take a small drill bit, just slightly larger than the hole in the nipple and drill it out,more spark will get to your powder and you won't have a problem. I've not had a misfire since. Easy fix. Good Luck
