Bore Butter
 

I was wondering when I should swab this stuff down. I've used it a lot, but not sure if I'm supposed to put it down after the gun is loaded, or just swab it into the barrel when I'm done and cleaning it. And would like some ways to efficently apply in there too. Can't seem to spread it to well. Thanks

Bore Butter is a great lube but don't add it to a loaded barrel. I never put anything down the bore once I load.

It's your rifle, use it if you want. I personally use it to lube conical bullets. Other then that, there really is no other use for it. I sure would not be putting it down the barrel of my rifle.

You can not beat bore butter for PRB.I would not use it for any thing else. Lee
