1. Measure the length of the unmodified breech plug with a 209 primer in place.
![]() 2. Use that measurement to set the depth of the 25 ACP cartridge. ![]() (Sorry about the quality of the pictures. Best I could do.) |

RE: Really Happy With 25 ACP Conversion
Another point (share the info, right). Not having a 25 ACP die set, I've found the easiest way to remove the spent primer from the cartridge case is with a 5/64 roll pin punch (Ace Hardware) and a 5/16" or 8mm quarter-inch drive socket. Just tap them out with a hammer. Took me about ten minutes to de-prime 35 cartridges.

RE: Really Happy With 25 ACP Conversion
I have a similar setup for depriming shotgun shells. It works pretty well. I have considered doing this in the past. If I do the conversion, I will probably buy a Lee priming tool and a brass cleaner.
I have a similar setup on my TC Renegade. I have what is called an Accra Shot nipple on it. It allows me to use small pistol primers with it. This insures that 777ffg will light off consistently in it. It is a really accurate setup. Crud ring is almost non existent also. |
