I went out today and fired a 60 gr. blank charge to learn a little bit more. Learned alot more off one shot.

If your shooting on an improvised range and you forget ear plugs you can use a couple dry patches. Wad em up in your ears. It's not as good as plugs but it helps. I try to keep a set of plugs in every gun box but occasionally I missplace them and need to improvise.

I do a lot of Pistol Shooting. About a month ago, I went to the range and left my Ear Muffs home......didn't feel like driving back so I used Nicorette Gum. Worked well and now my ears don't crave cigarettes.......

You have to chew it or you can't get a snug fit........I forget my ear protection about once a month. I use the headset style ear muffs - real nice. Always leaving them in the wrong bag. Now Istuffafew of the little marshmellow dohickies in each range bag for days I forget my headset. But........if I'm all out.....I always have my Nicorette Gum.
