Gunslick gun wipes

The last two times I've cleaned my gun, I've used the Gunslick gun wipes Ibought a few years ago to take waterfowling in Canada. I fold them twice and down the barrel they go. The same wipe has sufficient oil to then do the entire exterior oiling as well. Most important, I'm seeing no sign of oxidation when sending a dry patch down on the following range visit whereI had beenwhenI squirtedoil on a dry patch to oil the bore. I think the slicks are making better contact on the walls of the grooves. Very convenient and effective. Any one else tried them?

Can not say that I have used your "Gunslick" wipes, but I do make borepatches with the same thought in mind. If the oil is equally distributed throughout thepatchI think it does a better job lubricating the bore. I treat my patches with "Slip 2000"in a air tight container, like the damp bore patchand then thumb out the excess.... After they go down the bore I use them on the exterior also....

Waste not - want not....

That's it. You're making your own "wipes". At 6 cents a gun cleaningI have a feeling I may buy another container of the wipes already assembled.;)
