Scope color choice on T/C triumph
 

Hey guys, I know im going to sound a little picky, but here it goes. Just picked up the T/C Triumph in the weathershield finish (stainless steellook) and can't decide on which color scope to mountafter seeing this picture on their website with a black mount, scope, and rings on the weathershield finish...Any opinions on why I should go black or silver Nikon 3-9x40 scope, mount, and rings might help. What would you do??--I will be using this for Deer. Just can't decide.

I have a black scope on my stainless steel White and find it very pleasing to look at. But it is all a matter of personal taste to you. After all you're spending that kind of money, you might as well have it look the way you want. One scope is not going to work better then the other just because of the color. Although I would go with Warne QD rings if there is ever a chance you want to take the scope off the rifle, use open sights, and then put it back on.

Thats not a strange question...ive wondered too.

The pic you have to realize is a black stock so I naturally think a black scope will look better. I hve yet to decide.

Seriously, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Whichever you prefer. I've has silver on blued guns, and black on stainless guns. Didn't look too bad either way, and the quality of the optics was really all that mattered to the groups.

matte black gets my vote, you get too much of the stainless look and to me, i think is becomes distasteful.

Go with the black. I have a SS encore in HDWDS synthetic, looks great. What about a Leupold?
