Targets Anyone?
There are lots of free targets on the Internet, but I’ve never found any I like better than my home made jobs to fit standard eight and a half by eleven inch paper.
I take my master copy to the local copy store and make a bunch for seven cents each, or get someone with access to a copier to make some freebies for me. I like to hang on to the targets I’ve shot for future comparisons, and these have all of the data I want to keep. There are four basic styles - mostly suited to scope use; - One DOT on a vertical 8 ½ X 11” page. - One Cross on a vertical 8 ½ X 11” page. - Two DOTS on a horizontal 8 ½ X 11” page. - Two CROSSES on a horizontal 8 ½ X 11” page. There are two versions of each style - one with a place to record chronograph readings and one without. These were built with Microsoft Works software and saved as document files (*.wps). I’ll be happy to sent the file(s) to anyone who wants them. To do that, you need to send me an e-mail so I can send you a reply with attachments. (Don’t send a PM - I can’t add an attachment to a PM.) The eight targets are on the following comments for your viewing pleasure. (Note: All of them will have good 1/2" margins when printed as a document file. The marginsdon't show up well here.) Target 1 |

RE: Target 4a
I usually use targets that I made myself.

RE: Target 4a
www.targetz.com has similar targets to what you have posted. I like the 1" squares as a reference. I do not have a spotting scope so looking through my 9x the squares let me know whats going on. I'll print these on yellow paper and the shots are easier to see at 100 yards.
