I haven't spent $250 for a scopefor anything. There's a number of good scopes out there. I've got a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40, Leupold VX-1 3-9X40, Bushnell 2-7X32. Of those, the Leupold's never been on a gun yet.

on my cva sits a walmart special ,the ruff and rugged TASCO 3 X 9 X 40 . $29.00 . on my other rifles are the bushnell elite 3x9x40 (i own 3 of these ) a bushnell elite 3.5 x 10 x 50 , a burris 2x , and a couple others . all but one is under 200 bucks . all these acope are great scopes . I try to be buget minded about everything , but you dont have to spend alot to get good results .I've owned alot of scopes , and have used my buddys in benchrest competetions and the bushnell is in my opinion a great scope for the money . maybe one day i'll upgrade to one on my cva , but the 29 buck tasco is holding up just fine right now .

I put a 3-9x40 Bushnell Elite 3200 on my KRB. So far, I really like it. It was a toss up between the Bushnell and the Nikon 2-7x32.

I have a nikon prostaff 3x9x40 on my optima. It has the BDC in it but I don't use it....I just liked the cross hairs better. Nice scope, can take a beating and can find it all day along for around $150.

Leupold VX-I shotgun/muzzleloader 2-7x32. $199 and worth every penny. Go to your local gun shop and look through different ones to see which one you like best. Lots of good choices for under $250.

I just use a bushnell 4x scope on my ML's. Picked them up for under $100. I've had one on my side lock for about 20 years and never had a difficulty with it.

Like Natural said, Leupold VX I 3-9X40 ($199). I have one on my T/C Omega and love it. Lifetime gaurantee and fantastic customer service.
