Info on T/C .54 Hawkin ML

My local gun dealer has a LIKE NEW .54 hawkin rifle that he is willing to let go for 200.00. I looked it over and do not think it has ever been shot. Is this a good deal for it? What kind of specs does it have? twist???? And what kind of performance could I expect? Will it shot balls and conicals? I have a Encore and love it but this would be my first sidelock.

You better buy that before he sobers up!

The rifle has a 28" barrel, 1:48 twist, will shoot roundball and conical, and will harvest anything you want to hunt in America. As for performance, most traditional rifles like powder. Mine shoots 90 grains and a roundball with amazing accuracy. Even if this is a Traditions, Lyman, CVA, or Thompson Center.. in new condition is well worth $200.00

Grad it - i just sold a 50 cal TC Hawken for $400.... I had it on consignment at a local gun store, the owner said he could get $450, but settled on $400. It was also very slightly used.

What was the name of that Local Gun shop? I'd be happy to check it out for you!

I own the Thompson Renegade which is the same gun without all the fancy brass. I put a Green Mountain on it and shoot .54 roundball. This is a really fun gun to shoot.

Either jump on it today or put the phone number of the shop and we will call them with our credit card! It is a great deal, for a gun as you described. Chap Gleason
