Barnes bullets

I just got a free dvd about barnes bullets and it is very informitave. After watching the dvd I am now hooked on those bullets. I just ordered the spit-fire sabots and if they shoot well then I am going to use them for Pa bear huntthis year. One part of the dvd that made me think was when they were talking about bullet engery. a 180 grain bullet from a 300mag going 3,200fps makes 4,100lbs of energy, When 2 280lb big horn rams battle they create 5,400lbs of energy but they dont get hurt. Energy in a bullet is over rated. Shot placement and a well constructed bullet are key. here is the link to get your free dvd.

Barnes are a great bullet without a doubt. They shoot well out of most my rifles. Now if I can just find a critter to try them out on.

I've used both the 245 Spitfires and 250 MZ's on game. They're very well constructed bullets.

I'm using the Knight Red Hot in 250gr which is a Barnes MZ Expander. I'm so impressed with how these shoot in my ML. The only change I made was using the Harvester Crushed Rib Sabots. I've yet to hear a bad word from anyone about the Barnes bullets. He's pic of the last group I shot with them.

RE: Barnes bullets

A few years ago a hunting buddy talked me into trying Barnes bullets.
To date I've shot 3 deer with Barnes Expanders. All hits were in the chest cavity, and all 3 deer dropped right on the spot. With results like that I'm sticking with them for my hunting load!
They have also grouped as well or better (much better in most cases) than any other bullet I've tried in any of my inlines.
