I put a 1X Thompson Center 32mm scope on my White Ultra Mag, and really like it. As a aiming device it does a real good job. Nikon, Sightron, Tradtions and Burris also make a 1X scope as does T/C. I am going to throw a $50.00 Traditions 1X scope on a side lock and see what it can do with that on...

I also like a 2-7x32mm Nikon Pro Staff scope for my rifles. They will not break the bank, have excellent clarity, life time warranty, and seem to be tuff as nails so far.

Thanks for the help, I am new to this site and really appreciate all the nfo. I'll be sure to spend alot more time picking everybodies brain. I've worn the rifleing off my older traditions 50 cal. and I am going thru a new equipment learning curve.
