Custom Stock...or extender
 

I'm shooting a T/C Omega and trying to find a way to extend the stock. I'm 6'6" with long arse arms and when I shoulder my gun my arms end up being in a very uncomfortable position and I don't get proper eye-relief on my scope. I think I need to extend the stock/butt by at least 3 inches, if not more. I've seen slip on recoil pads that may add a half inch or so, but that's not going to help my problem.
Can anyone recommend a custom stock maker or possible solution to my problem?

I might think about having some sort of surgery toreduce the length of your arms by three inches. Then all guns would fit you better so you wouldnt need to buy additional custom stocks or extenders.

You can probably get this done cheaper in Mexico or anywhere in South America.

You might try locating a rattlesnake and teasing it into biting the stock. It might just swell enough to take care of your problem.

I did that with an SKS, took a piece of a 2x4, mated it to the stock and bolted it on and then shaped it. With the hollow stock you have, thats going to be the tricky part. Im sure a gun smith could do it cheap.

This ain't original like some of the other replies, but how about calling
T/C or Smith & Wesson who ever is in charge and run your issue bythem.
They might have a solution or you might get someone who will run with the issue. Sure you ain't the only one that needs larger toys.

Called them before making my post. They were no help...except refering me to a custom stock company...who is out of business.

Which stock do you have? the glass stock or the laminated wood stock?

Another thought there is a gadget we call the "Clyde Slide" It is a mechanical recoil system used by trap shooters, it would extend your stock length by 3-4"

I'll try to find a picture if you might be interested. It is a spring loaded - aluminum assembly that installs partially into the stock and also extends out of the stock...

You might check with these people or Gander moutain gunsmithing. The best answer is to build your own that way you get just what you want. Lee
