For as long as the Revolution has been on the market, you do not read a lot of reviews from owners singing the praises of the rifle. On that alone, I tend to mistrust it. If it was a great rifle, they would have made a bigger impact on the market and in the field. Look at the Omega, the owners are always telling of how well the rifle shoots or how much they like the rifle. Very few negative comments. Knight had some problems in the beginning with the Revolution, but you really never hear too much about them. Now that rolling block to me is a nice looking rifle. You are buying it though, so you have to make the final decision.

The Rolling Block has a good write up by Bryce Towlsey in American Rifleman last month. I believe the Knight Long Range Hunter is a more accurate rifle from what I have seen and heard from guys on this forum.

RE: KNIGHT REVOLUTION ?

I didn't care much for the first generation revolutions. The position and design of the action lever felt uncomfortable to me. The action lever on the revolution II appears to have been redesigned and should be more comfortable from what I can see. I haven't heard much about the revolution locally or online. The only person I know that had one commented on the blow back he experienced from the rifle. That was a generation I revolution. The problem might have been corrected on the Revolution II rifles. Now,I've never fired either the revolution I or II, so I can't verify the blow back issue.

I will say that I'm very pleased with the Rolling Block at this point. I got mine in about a month ago. My first range session with it proved to be verypromising. ( http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2201716&mpage=1&key=knight? ).

I love my Revolution. I had some trigger problems (like most owners did). While it did upset me, Customer Service was great. Shoots like a champ, and cleans up very easily.
