That was definetly a fake video... there is no possible way to hit a deer at that speed and A.) shoot it straight up in the air and B.) not cause any damage to the car

You may be right ckiel24, but if it's a fake it's a great one. I must have run it 50 times with so many pauses that it was almost stop motion. The deer's foot placement on the road looks exactly right and just what you would expect. You don't usually see that kind of detail in a fake.

I wonder at that speed if the driver even knew what it was he hit. As far as a fake or real video. My vote is for real.

I beleive it is real since the driver actually swerves a little before impact. As far as no damage I guess on impact at that speed it just took the legs out from under that deer. Still an awesome video.

Dave I have been seeing many feeding at the side of the roads down here the last week also . Of coarse they have been cuting the high grass last week , but they were out there before they cut it , almost hit one last week .

Fake:

At that speed there would have been a heck of a lot of damage to the front of the car.

Also, and I am not a physics person, but I think the deer would have gone more backward toward the driver in addition to going up.

But it is a pretty funny video. Thanks for sharing.

I know it was a deer, but gives a new take on "when pigs fly"

Cayugad, try a grille guard for your truck. I bought one for mine and it makes me feel a lot better. They look really sharp on the truck if you buy the right one too.
