Default Knight 45 disc

Looking for some input on powder loads for used Knight 45 Disc. Have used 2 50gr pellets and seems to work OK....Q can I use 3 pellets? Haven't got the owners manual and can't seem to get anyone on the phone at the Knight plant. Any ideas??

According to my Disc manual, three pellets are perfectly fine for the rifle. The question is will it still have the kind of accuracy you want. Another option is get some loose powder, a powder measure and try some 110 or 120 grain loads and see how they work for you. That still is a lot of power you have, even with 100 grains of powder.

I set one up a few years ago with the one that came out with the 1:20 twist.the best I got to shoot in it was 110 gr pyro-select and a 225 HP power belt.Hunted with it one time and took a deer at 170 yds with it.
I got another one in trade first of the year that I need to set up and it has the 1:30 twist.Want to try some 200 xtps in it to see how they shoot.

Thanks chap.I hope this one with the 1;30 twist likes more different bullets than the other one, that 225 PB was the only bullet out of180's to 240 gr,I could get to shoot small groups.
Had a encore 45 barrel in 1;20 twist that I never did get to shoot.T/C replaced it with a 1;28 barrel but by that time I allready had the 50 cal barrel shooting the 40 cal bullets.

Now you have an extra barrel to dial in. Hope that works out for you. Chap Gleason
