LK-95 Knight?
 

Does anyone own or know much about the Knight Lk95 or Mk95 the owner isn't sure of the model #.It is a .54 camo-stainless that uses #11 caps only.I don't believe this model can be changed to #209 system.Knight said this one didn't have aGM barrel.Are the other Knight rifles a P in the A using the plastic holder for the #209 primer like the Wolverine?What are they worth used?Accuracy wise what can one expect?Thanx Harold

Perhaps you're refering to a Knight LK-II, LK-93 orA MK-85? All of them are Knight rifles. They are basically the same rifle with minor differences. I have a Knight Wolverine LK-II and it is a great shooter. Although it has the #11 cap ignition, it goes off perfect in all kinds of weather. Accuracy is exceptional.

The LK-II and the LK-93 are basically Wolverine. The different codes indicated the year they were introduced and the edition of the rifle as I was told by a Knight tech. They are Green Mountain Barrels, and Timney triggers. They are a great work horse rifle.

The Knight MK-85 was one of the first inlines that hit the market. Tony Knight introduced this rifle around 1985 and it swept the market with the new inovations it offered. They were also known for their excellent accuaracy.

Most of the MK-85 on auction sites sell between $150.00 - $250.00 although I have seen some go higher. Some of the LK-II will be as low as $75.00 and I have seen them go for $150.00. I bought mine new a couple years ago for $129.95 at Natchez. I saw them listed somewhere else not long ago for the same price.

I had one of the first models of knight rifles. I believe it was a LK-93. 120gr max pyrodex, and yes, I changed mine over to to 209 primer. I sold it last year for 120 dollars with the upgrade kit. Served me well for many years. I got 4" groups at 100 yards no problem, and found that if you bed that stock, you can get 2MOA easy. The cheap stock can be your problem.
