I have a GM Flint .58cal drop-in barrel on a TC Hawken...1" x 33" x 1:70" RB barrel...ordered it from GM andspecified a Flint breech plug instead of a cap plug...an outstanding, accurate barrel and deer go down like they've been hit with a sledgehammer

Thanks. I wonder if one can specify browned barrel or get in the white assembled?

you can get one like that right here for the same price I bet. A GM barrel would be nice but with these barrel it already comes in the white and you can get it flint w/ out any mods. Then You can brown it and not go through all the other stuff with GM.

Roundball,

I think he "missed" your post and was thinking one must get a .58 caplock barrel and have TOW convert it.

Thanks forsharing your experience. When I order my GMB I intend to ask if I can get it browned or in the white ( and see if they discount for that). I'll post the outcome if they accommodate either one of those requests.
