If you are lost and you have a few extra matches..eat a couple of match heads. It is the best insect repellent money can buy..especially if you don't have anything else. I learned this from some Special Forces guys when I was in the Army traveling all over South America doing commo support for them. I can tell you first hand it works. The phosphorous gets on your skin after you sweat and they won't come near you.

Thanks for the link. I am finishing up an Expository writing class in college this semester. We had to buy an Ernest Hemingway short story book to write response essays to. I tried reading several of them and I just can't get into the meaning of any of his stuff, and I think he a horrible writer (racist womanizer). I asked my instructor if I could choose someone else and she said yes...the problem is I didn't know anyone else. Your link reminded me of Jack London. I read a few of his books way back there in high school and liked them. To make a long story short you helped me find what I was looking for..THANKS!!
