Spect thats a very good deal on those B D's. I have one in the 50 XR Express and its as bad as a cottonmouth on a stump![8D]

I also have a 50 XR and it is a fine shooter.Does anyone offer an inline in .58?

Dave: Don't know if you saw my post on the 97 Whitetail Hunter but it arrived. It is as advertised. Couldn't find a flaw until I looked real close. There is a slight delamination near the butt but it is just a surface thing and I put a little stock filler liquid on it and it is now solid. I could have sanded it off as it is just a sliver on the surface. The rifle is like new and well taken care of. Still have not figured out how to post a picture. Any help?? It came with about 20 of the White bullets in sabots and two conicals in the hard case. He had Pyrodex to go with the rifle but could not ship it so I didn't get that. Not a biggy. I am really wanting to get out and shoot it but the range on weekends is too full. Maybe by the middle of next week. I didn't get an owners manual and am not sure I need it but would like to see what comes with a White.
I saw your post and from the sounds of the rifle, you got a heck of a deal. That really sounds like a nice set up. I bet you are going to really enjoy that rifle. My White likes Triple Se7en 3f and Swiss 3f, then Goex 3f. I will be watching for your reports. :D

I don't think anybody is making an inline .58 at this time. I did buy a new/old stock .58 cal TC Firehawk 2 weeks ago. The gun was made in 1994. Every once in awhile you see these guns on a gun auction site.

i think also t/c system1 comes in 58 cal. and maybe NEF also makes a 58 cal.

I got a new stainless firehawk in .54 caliber for a good deal(about the same) years ago from bass pro with the 209 conversion in the box and its one of my favorite rifles. I didnt know that they made the firehawk in .58.

In Colorado, you can hunt deer and antelope with a .45 caliber - but must have at least .50 caliber for elk.
