What size shot and how many ozs ?

Powder used and how many grains?

Shot cup wad?

Card wads?

Any Info would be great, Thanks

RE: Knight TK2000

I have a TK 2ooo and I love it. I was at the NWTF in Nashville and the Knight Rep gave me about 140 shot cups and wads. Some have found an aftermarket wad from Ballistic Products. They may be the supplier for Knight..I don't know. As far as powder I have used T7 only so far. I have tried from 80 to 11o gr of T7. If u try 110 gr u better hang on! It kicks like a cheap mule. As far as shot I use one of the shot cups full (2 1/2 oz) and the black Knight wad. I have killed a turkey over 40 yds using 100 gr T7. I held a little hi and he was graveyard dead. As far as patterns go I had 87% in a 30" circle at 40 yds. If u use the turkey head target it will put 10-15 shot in the kill area. This is my second TK. My friend borrowed mine and wanted it bad so I sold it and started over. I had a Nikon ($279) on the other one. My dealer didn't have that scope so I tried a Bushnell Banner Camo 1.5 x 4 and I am going to keep it.About $70 from Midway.

Oldwun, Thanks for the reply and info. It will help me out alot when I get to the range soon. I Like the scopes at midway and great prices as I have been thinking of adding a scope.

I will start out at 100gr of powder and 2 1/2 oz of #5's

RE: Knight TK2000

I had a Knight TK2000 and it is a great shooting gun, just not a good fit for my body. It just plain hurt me every time I touched it off! [&:] I have a hunting buddy who loves Knight rifles, so he now owns it and turkey hunts with it.
When T-7 first hit the market I checked with Knight and they said 120 grains would be a maximum load behind 2 1/2 oz of shot. Of course I tried that load! It did have severe recoil, and the pattern was not good. I finally settled on 100 gr of T-7 as the bestload for that powder. With Pyrodex or Goex BP 120 grains behind 2 1/2 oz of shot is fine.

I love the TK2000! I start with 100 grains of T7 fffg. Then a wad, to protect the shotcup from heat, and melting. Then, a 3.5 shot cup, filled with copper plated #5's. To top it off, another shot wad. Oh yea, I forgot to mention, I also use a cushion wad, in the shot cup. I cannot reveal the info on this, copyright reasons. I am still looking to make some profit from this discovery!!
